In this workshop, we will go deep into mixed-media embroidery. We will first learn how to use watercolour on paper, starting with experimental and fun exercises to learn the technique of flowing the paint with water. We will explore how colours mix in a harmonious way. Next, we learn how that translates onto fabric. Then we dive into the world of freestyle embroidery, learning textures, creating 3D elements and also using beads to add to our painted fabric.

Yes totally! I suggest that you practice the basic stitches shown in the preparation videos added on the course page first, because we won't be reviewing basic stitches on the live course. The basic stitches are easy to learn.
